Grade 4

Trysten is now in Grade 4, Senior Primary and sitting at a real desk. Seems to have an awesome teacher and a lot of his friends are in the class. It was a wake-up call for me. He's growing up fast and I still think he's my baby.

Streak

Yesterday would have been John's 39th birthday. We celebrated by dusting Mr Love's Harley off and going for a decent ride. After spending way too much time in my head, I came to the following conclusions:
1. He rocked my world
2. He drove me insane at times
3. He made me laugh a stack
4. We had fun
5. We loved, we fought and we made up
6. The line between love and hate was extra fine with us
7. Our son is a wonderful combination of us both
8. I've really been loved, spoilt rotten and I knew I was the most important person in his world (and his boy, Trysten)
9. We lived life to the full
10. and I'm going too miss him for the rest of my life.

The New Year

Now I'm past forty I suppose life should settle but I find myself challenging my status quo. Spent more time than I should have in my head space. The waters are still murky and no real decisions have been made either than that I love fresh sushimi on the beach.
